The U.S. military conducted self-defense strikes on Gusham Island, shooting down multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, claiming most missed and some were intercepted. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that they attacked the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters, airbases, and other targets with missiles and drones in response to attacks on communication facilities in southern Gusham Island and oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The conflict has lasted for three months, with no long-term ceasefire reached. Tehran assessed the ceasefire proposal put forward by Trump, with limited communication; Trump stated that negotiations are still ongoing.
