This study highlights a key point: LLMs are not all-powerful, but providing them with a toolchain can significantly advance complex software engineering tasks. The data on multi-file repair and legacy code refactoring is quite convincing, but the safety measures for automatically making changes in production environments are indeed a major challenge. The collaborative perspective of tool systems may reshape the design philosophy of future AI-assisted development.
