Lately, I've been debating whether to go with L2 or just stick to the mainnet. Honestly, the mainnet is expensive but gives peace of mind, while L2 is cheaper and smoother but sometimes involves bridging back and forth, signing a bunch of transactions, and the experience really depends on how good your wallet and routing are. My current compromise is: for small, frequent transactions (like swapping tokens or participating in small activities), I mostly use L2; for long-term holdings or transactions involving large approvals or contract interactions, I grit my teeth and do it once on the mainnet to avoid hassle.

Also, I see those large on-chain transfers and exchange hot/cold wallet movements, and everyone starts interpreting them as "smart money" moves... I just see it as noise for now, and at most remind myself: don’t get itchy to chase after arbitrage just because others are moving funds; the gas saved might not even cover the cost of learning the lesson.
