Recently, there have been various posts about "completing tasks to earn points and change identities," basically just social mining with a different disguise. Badges, white lists, roles sound quite tempting, but I’ll ask first: who holds the permissions? Can the rules be changed at any time? I’ve seen too many projects that, once they get hyped, reset points or change weights, leaving only a bunch of screenshots for self-comfort...

Layer2 has been arguing about TPS, fees, and ecosystem subsidies lately. I just want to laugh when I see it: once the subsidies stop, the hype also fades away. My approach is simpler—prefer to do fewer tasks and spend more time reviewing contract permissions, bridge risk points, and the traceability of incentive distributions. Don’t empty your life for a badge; it’s really not worth it.
