Recently, I've seen a bunch of PFP profile picture swaps and membership badge displays again. Others think that obtaining "status" can lead to long-term brand benefits; in reality, it's often just a wave of attention rotation. When the hype fades, the profile picture remains, and the mindset collapses first.

I'm a very suspicious person, used to doing small experiments: spending the same budget twice, changing routes each time to see how much slippage and transaction differences there are. Some "membership channels" are basically just a different packaging; MEV front-running still comes with the same traps.
Lately, memes and celebrity calls have been too noisy. Veteran players advise newcomers not to take the last step—I truly believe that... Anyway, I now pay more attention to whether projects can deliver continuously and if the community is willing to do long-term work. Otherwise, even the most beautiful PFP is just for short-term excitement.
