These past two days, someone’s been treating “on-chain data” like scripture again, and I’m a bit scared... To put it plainly, what you see might also be “late-arriving on-chain” information. Node synchronization is slow, RPC traffic that goes through public gateways is rate-limited, and the indexer is still backfilling historical data—so for the same transaction: on your side, it hasn’t shown up yet, but on someone else’s side, they’ve already seen it. Especially when the market gets hectic, that “pending” in your wallet can mess with your mind.

On top of that, with recent tax changes and shifting compliance rules in some areas—tightening one moment and loosening the next—when deposit/withdrawal expectations change, the rush on-chain becomes even more likely, and the delay is even more obvious. Anyway, I’m not really comfortable making conclusions from a single panel right now; I’d rather earn a little less than be led around by “fake real-time” hype.

For now, I’m going to add backup RPCs for commonly used chains and a second index source to my bookmarks.
