Over the past couple of days, I’ve seen social mining and fan token schemes with the slogan “attention is mining” take over everyone’s screens. To put it simply, it’s about turning the time you spend staring at the chart into money… Someone as impatient as me is the easiest to get dragged along by whatever’s trending. When Gas goes up and my hand starts to shake, I end up chasing it in, only to look back and see that, basically, those on-chain trades are just fuel for other people to offload.

Now I’ve set myself a simple, down-to-earth rule: for any new narrative, I’ll only put in 20 yuan to test the waters first—no more than 10 minutes. If I still want to add to my position after that point, I’m forced to go sleep. Hot topics rotate so fast they’re like a packed-up queue. You think you’re racing for priority, but in reality you’re paying someone else’s priority fee. Anyway, I’d rather miss out than spend every day acting like a traffic miner.
