I found that grid/DCA stuff is perfect for someone like me who can’t stop overthinking in the middle of the night... In any case, it doesn’t ask you to “understand” every candlestick; if it drops, I just treat it as slowly picking up cheap deals. When I wake up, I can at most check whether there have been any trades—keeping a steadier mindset.

“A hand in the till”—to put it plainly—is more like I’m adding drama for myself: that moment when it goes down feels great, and then I start imagining all kinds of endings. Even when my phone vibrates, I think it’s about to blow up. Especially lately, with all the talk about social mining and fan tokens and that whole set of “attention is mining”—the more I look at it, the more it feels like I’m mining my own attention itself. If I stare at it too long, I really can’t fall asleep.

So I trust more in “strategies that let me sleep.” Earning slower is fine, having a more ridiculous profile picture is fine too—just for fun. That’s it for now; I’m going to get to work.
