Recently, my mindset about re-staking has been updated—like a “version update.” In v1.0, when I see the rewards stacking, I get an itch; I feel like I’ve added yet another layer to my lunchbox, like putting another bento inside it. In v1.1, I realize that what I’ve “stacked” might just be an illusion. Layer upon layer of packaging doesn’t necessarily mean more security; sometimes it’s only the same risks, repackaged differently, and stuffed back in again.

Sharing security sounds beautiful, but what I care about more now is: if something goes wrong, who will cover the loss, whether the rules are written clearly, and whether my withdrawal will go smoothly. Modularization and that whole wave of developers excited about the DA layer are indeed thrilling—I, as a user, am still basically clueless. No matter how grand the story is, just don’t make me sign a bunch of things I don’t understand… For now, I’ll just keep grabbing rewards on schedule: clock in on time, split into smaller wallets. I’d rather have a bit less than stack myself into an unretractable blind box. That’s it for now.
