These past few days, I’ve been scrolling through "on-chain" data to the point I started doubting my own life: clearly, my friend took a screenshot of a certain transaction and sent it to the group, but my side still shows no activity... It was only later that I realized, nodes/RPC/indexers are like different courier stations; some move quickly, some are congested. What you see is just the progress bar of a particular station, not the true state of the universe. To put it simply, the idea that "on-chain = real-time" is often an illusion.

Because of this, I’ve recently started to understand why privacy coins, mixers, and compliance boundaries can be argued about so fiercely: on one hand, they claim transparency and auditability; on the other hand, they fear being cut off entirely. As a result, even what you "see on-chain" might be delayed, let alone emotions being uploaded first.

By the way, a couple of days ago, I followed an account that passionately reposted a bunch of "on-chain evidence," only to find out it was all from a single perspective of an indexer, and the timestamps didn’t match... I quietly unfollowed. It’s not that they’re bad, but I’m now more afraid of being led by what appears to be certain. That’s all for now.
