The U.S. military claims to have successfully intercepted a ballistic missile launched by Iran toward a U.S. military base in Kuwait.
The U.S. Central Command stated that on Sunday local time in Iran, two ballistic missiles were launched at U.S. forces stationed in Kuwait, intercepted by U.S. missile defenses, with no casualties or damage to facilities. This incident occurred amid escalating U.S.-Iran tensions, with the U.S. military deploying additional forces in the Gulf, including F-35s, air defense systems, and naval vessels to strengthen defenses. Currently, Iran has not issued any new statements.
