"Super Intelligent Computing No. 1" Computing Power Satellite Officially Launched
On May 29, the “Super Intelligent Computing No. 1” computing power satellite, which made its debut in Shijingshan, Beijing, will be launched into the sky aboard the “Lijian No. 1 Yao 18” carrier rocket. Using laser communication to build a high-speed inter-satellite computing power network, it extends computing power into space and creates a space-earth integrated future digital infrastructure. The satellite is equipped with an onboard intelligent computing processing unit, featuring high autonomy, high computing power density, and low latency. It can complete on-orbit processing of remote sensing big data, AI inference, and real-time data analysis, compressing the data response time from the hour-level to the minute-level.
