This is because a proposal seeking 7.8 million ADA (about $1.84 million) failed to receive the two-thirds approval required by the network governance community. Although 65.2% of votes supported the proposal, it still did not reach the 66.67% approval threshold. The voting records show that 135 participants supported the proposal, 61 opposed it, and 24 abstained. The failure of this proposal has sparked ongoing debate about the use of the Cardano treasury and community fund decision-making.
