Recently, I’ve been caught up in the social mining craze again, checking in daily, sharing posts, punching in at groups, accumulating points as if I’m working for the platform… Honestly, badges/status symbols are really appealing when hot, but when it cools down, they just become a bunch of screenshot souvenirs. Especially now with the NFT royalty dispute—some say it’s to support creators, while others complain that secondary liquidity is being drained—I get a headache just thinking about it: in the end, the most stable income might be the platform’s “active user count.”

What I fear most isn’t losing money, but dedicating an entire day to task lists and ending up with only the illusion of “I worked hard.”
Anyway, I’m just choosing two or three projects I genuinely want to use to get by, so I won’t keep draining my time for a tiny icon.
