Recently, I’ve been getting a bit obsessed with earning points on the testnet.

Originally, I was just practicing and clicking around casually, but once the expectation of “I should be able to earn quite a bit” popped into my mind, my hands started to misbehave: staying up late to farm, switching chains back and forth, completing tasks as soon as I saw them...
Honestly, it’s like opening a position; the bigger the expectation, the harder it is to stop.
The stop-loss I set for myself now is pretty simple: only give it a certain amount of time and a fixed gas budget each day, and stop once I exceed that—no chasing after “that last bit of points.”
Especially these past couple of days, seeing bridges get hacked and oracles report errors, with everyone just “waiting for confirmation,” has reminded me not to treat the testnet as a guaranteed win.
The biggest change since I started recording is that I can see whether I’m doing it for practice or just for emotional reasons, and which actions are really just about not wanting to miss out;
The more I record, the easier it becomes to stop. Anyway, I prefer the steady earning of transaction fees—it's more suitable for me.
