Lately, I’ve been getting a bit annoyed with grinding for testnet points.
It was originally for practicing, but gradually it turned into an expectation of “I need to get something out of this”…
Once there’s an expectation, people start adding more time and brainpower, and eventually it backfires.
My stop-loss is pretty simple: set a total budget (including time, gas fees, and attention), and stop once it’s exceeded;
then set a verification point—if the tools run poorly, the bridge gets stuck, or RPC issues happen more than three times, switch projects immediately, don’t fight yourself.
Layer2s are always comparing TPS, fees, and subsidies—I just find it funny.
No matter how much subsidy there is, it can’t make up for my sleep.
Anyway, I see complexity as an enemy: I never do manual operations if I can run it with one click.
That’s all for now.
