Cross-Chain Swaps Have Arrived in Omniston on STON.fi

STON.fi has released the Omniston v1beta8 update, introducing cross-chain asset swaps between different blockchain networks for the first time in a test environment.

Supported Networks

At the moment, Omniston supports swaps between the following networks:

  • TON
  • Base
  • Polygon

The initial focus is primarily on major stablecoins, including:

  • USDT
  • USDC
  • pUSD

What Has Changed

Previously, Omniston operated exclusively within the TON ecosystem and focused on finding the most efficient swap routes inside a single network.

With this update, the platform is moving to a new stage of development by connecting multiple blockchains and making cross-chain swaps significantly more accessible and convenient for users.

Omniston as a Cross-Chain Execution Layer

The v1beta8 update also marks the beginning of Omniston’s evolution into a full cross-chain execution layer that can be integrated into virtually any web3 application.

This is especially important for developers, as the protocol now handles:

  • quote processing;
  • execution coordination;
  • cross-chain transaction tracking.

As a result, development teams can focus on building user-friendly products instead of spending resources on maintaining complex cross-chain infrastructure.
