CryptoWorld News reports that according to U.S. media Axios, the Trump administration is preparing for the possible fall of the Cuban government as early as this summer, and has conducted war game simulations on new military response plans to prevent the island nation from falling into chaos. Trump has not authorized a military invasion of Cuba; he prefers to achieve the country's "liberalization" through a peaceful transition. Therefore, the current administration will continue to implement economic sanctions, attempting to suffocate the Havana regime through a gradual, "slow-motion" tightening strategy. This is to ultimately refocus attention on Cuba and decide how to facilitate change.

Can sanctions topple regimes? History has shown many times that it can't.

Slow-motion strangulation costs much less than directly deploying troops, old trick.

War game simulations are all set up; just hearing about a peaceful transition is enough.
