I just did a lot of research on reliable trading applications because I wanted to start with a small capital, and honestly there are much better options than I thought.
The first thing that surprised me is that you no longer need thousands to get started. I found platforms where you can open an account with $5 or $20. Most of the reliable trading apps I reviewed are officially regulated, so at least that provides peace of mind.
MyTrade caught my attention because it’s super simple. The interface is clean, without unnecessary clutter. You can trade stocks, forex, cryptocurrencies, all from a single account. The minimum deposit is $20 USD, and they don’t charge commissions, only spreads. It has integrated TradingView charts and a demo account with $50k to practice risk-free.
If you already have experience, AvaTrade offers more flexibility. It supports MetaTrader 4 and 5, has professional accounts with higher leverage, and access to over 1,200 assets. The deposit is $100 USD, but the difference is noticeable if you know what you’re doing.
Plus500 is for those who want variety. They have over 2,800 CFDs, including futures and prediction markets. It’s listed on the London Stock Exchange, so it’s quite established. XM is another solid option if you like high leverage (up to 1000x) and multiple account types.
But if you’re really a beginner, eToro has something unique: copy trading. Basically, you automatically copy what more experienced traders do. The minimum is $200 USD per trader you copy, but it’s interesting for learning.
What became clear to me is that reliable trading apps share similar features: official regulation, no commissions on trades (only spreads), demo accounts, and low deposits. The difference lies in whether you prefer simplicity, a variety of assets, high leverage, or learning by copying others.
Before investing real money, practice with the demo. All this activity carries risk, so don’t bet what you can’t afford to lose. Has anyone else tried any of these?
