I've been looking for the best app to invest with little money for a while, and honestly, there are more options than I thought. Most people believe you need thousands to start, but that's completely false now.
I tried MiTrade first because friends said it was super easy. The truth is, the interface is clean, without a lot of unnecessary clutter. You can deposit from $20 and you're in. What I liked is that it integrates TradingView charts directly, so you get decent technical analysis without switching to another app. Perfect if you're just starting out.
Then I explored AvaTrade. It's more for those who already know what they're doing. It has over 1,200 assets, and you can use MetaTrader 4 and 5, which are the platforms serious traders use. The minimum deposit is $100, so it requires more initial capital, but if you're looking for professional leverage and more advanced options, it's worth it.
Plus500 surprised me with its variety. It’s listed on the London Stock Exchange and offers over 2,800 CFDs. They recently opened access to futures in the U.S., so if you're interested in that type of trading, it's a pretty comprehensive app for investing. But it also requires a minimum of $100.
XM is interesting if you're aggressive with leverage. It goes up to 1:1000, which is quite extreme. You can start with just $5 in the micro account, so technically, it's the most accessible. But of course, that high leverage also means high risk. For experienced traders.
eToro is different. It’s not for short-term speculation like CFDs. Here, you buy real assets, and there's also a copy trading feature, which is quite useful if you want to learn by copying experienced investors. Minimum $50 to start.
The truth is, the best app to invest depends entirely on who you are. If you're a beginner and want something simple, MiTrade wins easily. If you already have experience and want professional tools, AvaTrade or XM are solid choices. And if you prefer a community and copy trading, eToro is the option. The important thing is not to jump in without practicing first on a demo account. All of them offer that, so try it out before investing real money. Which one do you use?
