The Dutch government blocks a U.S. company's acquisition of cloud service provider Solvinity

Mars Finance News, May 26 — According to Bloomberg, the Dutch government has blocked the proposed acquisition of Dutch cloud service provider Solvinity Group BV by American company Kyndryl, citing security concerns. Dutch Digital Economy Minister Willemijn Aerdts stated in a letter to Parliament on Tuesday: "The proposed Solvinity acquisition may pose risks to the public interest." She also announced that a "full ban" will be imposed on the transaction, which was originally close to completion.
