New technology-themed funds are in hot demand, with differing predictions for the AI market outlook

Abstract generation in progress
Recently, the new fund issuance market has heated up. Data from the Public Fund Ranking Network shows that from May 18 to 24, a total of 47 new funds started fundraising across the market, achieving month-over-month growth for three consecutive weeks. Equity products dominate the new issuance market, while technology themes such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and semiconductors have become key focus areas for fund companies. Overall, against the backdrop of the continued performance of the technology growth theme, the tech sector remains the core focus for institutions. However, as the previous gains in related sectors were substantial, market opinions on the future trend of AI have begun to diverge. Some institutions believe that the expansion of global capital expenditure and the logic of independent controllability will continue to support industry prosperity; others warn that sector valuations are already relatively high, and short-term volatility and performance verification pressures may arise. The new fund's accumulation period actually acts as a volatility amplifier, and retail investors buying at the peak will be complaining again.

Institutions are all rushing into technology, while other sectors are losing significant ground.
This extreme polarization won't last too long; watch out for the risk of style switching.

A high-level fluctuation is certain; the key is whether it moves upward or downward after the fluctuation. Let's see if Q2 earnings can surpass expectations.

The best time to do T during a high-volatility consolidation period, but regular players are advised to stay flat and not make reckless moves.

Three consecutive weeks of month-over-month growth indicate that the channels are also pushing, and retail investor sentiment indicators need to be closely monitored.

With the support of the self-controlled and controllable policy line + the industry's rigid demand, the medium to long-term logic is the smoothest; ignore short-term fluctuations.

AI valuation is indeed expensive, but the industry trend isn't finished yet. Finding segments with proven performance is safer than betting on the leading players.

The active issuance of new funds is often a characteristic of the later stages of the market trend; historical patterns must be heeded.

The main technology theme is fine; the problem is that it's rising too quickly. Waiting for a pullback to get in again isn't embarrassing.
