Recently, Layer 2 projects have been arguing again about TPS, fees, and subsidies—who's more aggressive. To be honest, as someone who provides liquidity, I've heard so much about it that it's a bit exhausting... A bunch of terminology. Actually, just focus on one main thread: in the end, whether this chain "counts" or not depends on who makes the final decision. Who set the order determines whether your swap gets front-run; data availability is whether there are places to check the details of the ledger, so if something goes wrong, you can at least reconcile; finality means don’t say it’s confirmed today only to have it reversed tomorrow. Anyway, I don’t look at who has the loudest voice when choosing pools—first, understand these points clearly, then look at the fee structure. Earning steadily is good enough.
