Just looked at the latest wealth data for 2025—there are now 60 million millionaires across the globe, which is pretty wild when you think about it. The distribution is heavily skewed though. US alone has nearly 24 million, which is like 40% of the entire world's millionaires. That's insane.

China comes in second with around 6.3 million, then France at 2.9 million. After that it drops off pretty quick—Japan, Germany, UK all in the 2-2.7 million range. If you combine just the top 3 countries, they're holding more than half of all the world's millionaires. Rest of the world has to split 2.7 million among them.

Interesting to see how wealth concentrates in developed economies. Australia, Canada, Switzerland all have solid numbers despite smaller populations. Meanwhile countries like India and Brazil have way fewer millionaires relative to their size. Makes you wonder how the next few years will shift this distribution, especially with crypto adoption and emerging markets catching up.
