According to a report by The New York Times on May 20th, Trump reportedly stated at the beginning of the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict that after overthrowing the Hamedani regime, he proposed that an "insider" from Iran should lead the country. And this "insider" from Iran refers to former President Ahmadinejad, who is known for his anti-American stance.
