Hey guys!
GM GM 🌆
How was your day?
So, in light of the Bitcoin Pizza week, I'll like to answer the famous Pizza question:
"WHY ARE PIZZAS BAKED IN CIRCLES, CUT IN TRIANGLES, AND PACKED IN SQUARE BOXES?"
Pizzas combine these three shapes because each shape serves a different practical purpose: circles are easiest to shape, squares are cheapest to package, and triangles are cleanest to eat.
🔵 Why Pizzas Are Circles
Centrifugal Force: Tossing dough spins it naturally into a symmetrical circle.
Even Cooking: Round shapes lack corners, preventing burnt edges in high-heat ovens.
Uniform Heat: Thermal energy distributes equally from the center to the crust.
🟥 Why Boxes Are Squares
Easy Assembly: Flat cardboard sheets fold instantly into square boxes without glue.
Storage Efficiency: Flat squares stack tightly in trucks and on kitchen counters.
Production Cost: Manufacturing square boxes requires simpler machinery than cutting circles.
Corner Space: The empty corners leave room to grab slices without touching the box sides.
🔺 Why Slices Are Triangles
Equal Sharing: Cutting straight across the center automatically yields identical pieces. In maths, we call these pieces Sectors
Structural Support: The wide crust acts as a rigid, mess-free handle for your hands.
Bite Distribution: Every single slice gets a perfect mix of toppings, cheese, and crust.
Now you know why pizzas are baked in circles, cut in triangles and packed in square boxes
You're welcome 🤗
By the way, with the way Bitcoin is moving, it seems we are not getting any pizza for the weekend, champs 😥
