Recently, I was looking for platforms to start trading without putting in a lot of money, and honestly, there are more options than I thought. Turns out, you no longer need to be a millionaire to get into this. I found several apps that work pretty well for people who want to invest with little capital.

The one that caught my attention the most was MiTrade, honestly. You can start with just $20, and the interface is clean, no unnecessary clutter. It integrates TradingView charts, so you get decent technical analysis without hassle. Then there's AvaTrade, which is more for those who already know what they're doing—offers MT4, MT5, and higher leverage. Plus500 has an incredible number of assets, over 2,800, and recently opened futures in U.S. markets. XM offers the highest leverage (up to 1000x, but watch out for that), and eToro is the typical choice for beginners who want to copy other traders.

What’s cool about these top trading apps is that all are regulated, so it’s not like trading anywhere. Minimum deposits vary quite a bit: MiTrade from $20, XM from $5, eToro from $50, and the others from $100. All have no trading commissions, though they charge spreads and some have inactivity fees.

If you're a beginner like me, MiTrade is probably your best option—low deposit, simple interface, and they let you practice with $50,000 virtual dollars. But if you already have experience and want more tools, the other top trading apps offer more flexibility. The important thing is that now there are real options to start without breaking the piggy bank. Of course, all this involves risks, so it’s better to get well-informed before putting in real money.
