I just compared some popular global gold trading platforms and realized that choosing is not easy at all. Currently, there are hundreds of forex platforms supporting gold trading (XAU/USD), but their quality varies greatly.
Actually, when choosing a global gold trading platform, I find three most important criteria: credibility, trading platform, and fees. Mitrade has the advantage of their own platform which is quite user-friendly, no need to install MT4/MT5, competitive spread fees (1.32), and moderate leverage of 1:100. As for FP Markets, they have low ECN spread fees (0.25), fast transaction speeds, but the MT4/MT5 platform can be a bit complicated for beginners.
XTB is praised by many for its xStation 5 platform, reasonable spread fees, but they charge withdrawal fees. LiteForex stands out with its Copy Trade feature, although the risk is not small. Doo Prime offers a diverse range of products, supporting both MT4 and MT5, but their ECN fees are higher.
I think it’s best to choose a global gold trading platform based on personal needs: if you’re a beginner, go for a simple platform; if you’re a professional trader, prioritize low fees. My experience is to combine technical analysis (MACD, RSI, Bollinger Bands) with observing market psychology, especially paying attention to the reversal relationship between USD and gold. Mastering these factors will make gold trading on global gold platforms much more effective. Do you have any experiences you want to share?
