ADM Raises Profit Outlook as US Biofuel Policy Boosts Demand

Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM) has increased its annual earnings outlook for 2026, driven by clearer U.S. biofuels policy that is expected to boost demand for corn and soybeans. The company now anticipates adjusted earnings between $4.15 and $4.70 per share, an improvement from its initial forecast. This positive adjustment comes despite challenges from a volatile trade environment, including the conflict in the Middle East, and follows stronger than expected first-quarter earnings.
