📢 Three days until Samsung’s massive strike countdown! 50k workers walk out—Korea’s economy is in trouble

On May 21, 50,000 Samsung workers are about to flip the table! The reason is brutal: first-quarter profits surged by 756%, but bonuses have a hard cap, while SK Hynix’s bonuses for the same roles are 3 times theirs. Negotiations broke down after 17 hours, and the union said: “We’re not talking anymore!”

The government is panicking—Samsung alone accounts for 22.8% of Korea’s exports and contributes more than half of GDP. The Prime Minister is calling for “stopping at all costs,” even preparing to forcibly suspend the strike for 30 days.

It’s not really about money; it’s the chill of “the company is raking in huge profits, yet pretends it can’t see the effort employees are putting in.” Restarting talks on May 18 is the very last chance.

Do you think both sides will shake hands and compromise, or will it plunge the global chip industry into chaos? 👇#CLARITY法案参议院通关 #美批准中企采购英伟达H200芯片
