Oh, have you already fallen for that wave of apps promising money through Pix? I decided to test a few to see if they really pay. Spoiler: some work, but it’s not that easy money you see out there, you know?

I started with Make Money and AppKarma — basically you download apps, play a little, answer surveys, complete boring tasks. The withdrawal is via PayPal and then transferred to Pix. It takes a bit, but it arrives. Then I tested CashPirate, which is quite well known here in Brazil, very simple to use.

Now, what no one talks about is that the earnings are pretty slow. Like, you play for an entire month and make about R$ 20-50 if you're lucky. There are some apps like Big Time and Gamee that work with lotteries, then you can win more, but it’s a gamble, nothing guaranteed.

There’s also Toloka, which isn’t a real game, but pays for small tasks — classifying images, answering simple questions. I found it more reliable than the others. And Cash App is practically the only one that pays directly via Pix, without needing to go through PayPal first.

My advice? If you want quick earnings, this isn’t the way. But if you want some extra change while on the bus or waiting for someone, then it’s worth testing. Just don’t set high expectations, because it’s really just supplementary income. Which ones have you used? Did they really pay?
