Techub News reports that, according to Bitcoinist, on May 15th, on-chain investigator ZachXBT disclosed a security vulnerability in THORChain, with attackers stealing over $10 million worth of assets across multiple chains, including 36.85 Bitcoin (approximately $3 million) and 216 Ethereum. The security firm PeckShield confirmed the incident, stating that the attackers converted the assets into Ethereum and deposited them into a tagged wallet. THORChain's token RUNE dropped nearly 14%. As of press time, the THORChain team has not issued a statement, and the stolen funds remain on-chain at the tagged address.
