NCA 2026 Report: 67 million Americans (about a quarter of adults) hold digital assets, an increase of 12 million year-over-year, the highest ever. This year for the first time: the proportion of holdings among those over 55 exceeded 25% under 25, with 42% of new entrants being women, and entry channels are brokerages and ETFs.
Meanwhile: BTC spot ETF weekly net outflows of $1 billion, ending six weeks of inflows; total AUM is $104.2 billion, with zero fund inflows on the last day. BTC current price is about $79,000, 37% below ATH.
The age reversal in crypto is not a bullish signal — the newcomers are conservative holders buying IBIT through Fidelity, with ETF redemptions outpacing chain wallet transfers by an order of magnitude.
