One of the most meaningless things in this world is to take someone else's spotlight as your own glory. No matter how strong he is, that is his ability; no matter how successful he is, that is his life. If his value cannot influence your situation, your growth, your interests, or your emotions, then essentially, you and he are just "bystanders." So don't easily look down on anyone. The true value a person has for you is not in how impressive they are, but in whether they are willing to genuinely apply their resources, kindness, abilities, and time to you.
