I keep getting asked: What exactly is a bull run? And honestly, when you hear about it for the first time, it sounds more complicated than it really is.

A bull run is basically what happens when the crypto market really goes wild. Prices shoot up, people everywhere are talking about Bitcoin and others, and suddenly everyone wants to be part of it. More capital flows in, activity explodes – that’s the feeling of a real bull run.

When I look at how a bull run unfolds, I always notice the same patterns. At first, smart investors buy quietly and silently, when no one’s paying attention – this is called the accumulation phase. Then it starts: prices gradually rise, more people become aware. During the euphoria phase, literally everyone hears about crypto, social media is full of it, and FOMO drives masses to buy. In the end, the big players sell their positions to take profits – and that’s when volatility kicks in.

How do I recognize that we’re in a bull run? Well, Bitcoin and other coins are rising rapidly. Meme coins and NFTs suddenly get hyped everywhere. New projects pop up every week. And the comment sections are full of people afraid of missing the train.

The exciting part is: during these phases, a lot of money really flows into the market. New users join in, the opportunities are real – but so are the risks. Prices can crash just as quickly as they rose.

Anyone wanting to profit from a bull run should not blindly follow the crowd. Invest early in projects you trust. Have a plan before you pump in money. And learn how everything works beforehand – not afterwards, when you’re already involved.

One thing’s clear: a bull run is exciting but also dangerous. The rallies in 2017 and 2021 showed that clearly. Take care of your money, think before you act.

Have you experienced a bull run before? What was your impression back then? Do you think the next big bull run is coming soon? Feel free to share your thoughts.
