Crypto World News, citing Reuters, reports that the Polish parliament has passed a crypto-asset regulatory bill to implement the EU MICA requirements, with implementation to be completed by July this year. Meanwhile, Poland is investigating the “runaway” incident involving its largest crypto exchange, ZondaCrypto, which has resulted in user losses of more than 350 million zloty (approximately $95.9 million). Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk accused the platform of having “Russian mafia money” behind it and of posing potential risks of political infiltration. ZondaCrypto founder Sylwester Suszek has been missing since 2022, and his successor is reportedly in Israel.
