Polish parliament passes cryptocurrency regulation bill, involving ZondaCrypto scam investigation

Golden Finance reports that on May 15, the Polish parliament passed a cryptocurrency regulation bill to implement the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). Poland must complete the relevant rule implementation by July. The legislative background for this is the suspected large-scale fraud involving the Polish cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto. Polish prosecutors have launched a multi-million dollar fraud investigation against it, with user losses estimated to exceed 350 million zloty (approximately 95.93 million USD), and thousands of users are currently unable to withdraw funds.
