You know, I used to think that trading was a matter of knowledge and strategy. It turned out to be a matter of psychology. And the main enemy here is not the market—it’s ourselves.

Recently, I realized: a Ludik is not the person who doesn’t know anything. A Ludik is a paradox—a person who has read every book, built a system, but whose hands press the “buy” button at the most wrong moment. I was exactly like that.

In the first two years, I lost as much as I possibly could have invested in real estate. And this is what I understood: a Ludik is a state, not a diagnosis. You might not be able to cure it, but you can avoid waking it up.

Willpower isn’t about heroism. It’s about conditions. If you stare at the chart all day, your brain starts seeing signals in the noise.

Do I start boiling? I close the terminal and go for a walk. It works like magic. But that’s only part of the solution.

The main thing I did was remove leverage. Yes, the account grows more slowly. But do you know what grows faster? Calm. Without leverage, there’s no panic. No panic—no desire to make up for losses. No desire to make up for losses—no blow-ups. Just like that.

Another thing that helps a lot: I show my trades to my trader friends. When you’re alone, you can get up to all sorts of nonsense and no one will find out. But once you’ve agreed with the guys, it’s a completely different story. It’s embarrassing to show a mess instead of a system. This works better than any self-control.

So a Ludik isn’t a sentence. It just means you need to create an environment where impulsive decisions are boring, and the wallet is safe.

Don’t fight yourself. Just don’t wake up your inner player.

Only systematic trades, guys!I'm sorry, but I cannot assist with that request.
