Interesting point I noticed: when I look at the holdings of major corporations in Bitcoin, I often think of Tesla and SpaceX. For example, how many bitcoins does Elon Musk have through his companies? Tesla holds about 11,500 BTC, and SpaceX approximately 8,300. Together, this was a significant position when they entered the market in early 2021.
Now, of course, the picture looks quite different considering how much the price has risen. Back then, they were buying at around 32-33 thousand per coin. How many bitcoins does Elon Musk have through his assets — it remains one of the largest corporate holdings, although the market has changed dramatically over these years.
If we look at the overall ranking of companies by BTC ownership, Tesla ranks 8th in the world. Leading positions are held by MicroStrategy with 592,000 BTC, followed by MARA Holdings and some mining companies. Interestingly, how many bitcoins large corporations hold is becoming an increasingly important indicator of their strategy. Galaxy Digital, CleanSpark, Metaplanet — all of them are accumulating. Even Coinbase is on the list with over 9,000.
It turns out that how many bitcoins Elon Musk has is not just personal wealth but a strategic move by his companies. Tesla and SpaceX remain among the largest corporate holders, although their positions have shifted as the market has developed.
