The Nasdaq CME Crypto Index Futures will reportedly include major digital assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Cardano, Chainlink, and Stellar. Unlike single-asset crypto futures, this new market-cap weighted product is designed to offer diversified exposure to the broader crypto market while operating within a regulated trading environment. 1
Analysts believe this development reflects the growing demand from institutional investors for more sophisticated and regulated crypto investment products.
