I just saw the latest data on the top 20 richest people in the world from Bloomberg. Elon Musk is still number one, with a net worth of $638 billion, far above everyone else. It’s interesting to see how America dominates the top positions—Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Jeff Bezos, and Larry Ellison are all from there.
Then there are a few names we’re usually familiar with, like Mark Zuckerberg at number 6 with $229 billion, and Warren Buffett still in the top 10. But there are also some people who may be talked about less often, such as Jensen Huang from Nvidia, who has already made it into the top 10 with $153 billion.
What’s interesting is that among these 20 richest people in the world, most of them are indeed from the United States. However, there are also representatives from other countries like Bernard Arnault from France, Amancio Ortega from Spain, and some wealthy people from India and Mexico. Their wealth mostly comes from technology, retail, and manufacturing businesses. Quite inspiring, but it also makes you think about how concentrated wealth is in the world today.
