Recently delved into the MrBeast case and realized that his income is just on a different level. How much does MrBeast earn per month? According to some estimates, his monthly income fluctuates around $4-9 million, based on the average over the year. The guy has been ranked the top-earning YouTuber on the planet for two consecutive years.
In 2021, Jimmy Donaldson (that's his real name) earned about $54 million from video content, and Forbes suggested that his income could rise to $110 million the following year. His fortune was estimated at $500 million. And this is while in 2022 he was still looking for an investor for his content studio — if the deal had gone through, his main asset would have been valued at one and a half billion.
To understand how much MrBeast actually earns per month, you need to look at his project portfolio. He is not just a YouTuber — he is a whole media empire. His main channel, MrBeast, has 142 million subscribers. But that’s just the beginning: Beast Gaming (32 million), Beast Reacts (22.5 million), MrBeast 2 and MrBeast Shorts with 21.5 million each, plus Beast Philanthropy with 12.6 million. Each channel generates its own stream of income.
All this machinery operates out of Greenville — a small town where Donaldson grew up. There he built a studio, which he is now expanding into three large centers. About 50 people work at the studio: scriptwriters, editors, assistants. Many are his old friends and family members who have been with him since the very first days of the channel.
But videos are only part of the story. In December 2020, he launched MrBeast Burger. Initially, it was one location in Greenville offering free food, but on opening day, the car line stretched for 30 km. A brilliant move: he used a virtual restaurant model. Customers order through an app, and the food is prepared at a partner café. In three months, they sold over a million burgers. Now, the chain has over 300 locations in the US and several abroad. In August 2022, he even opened the first full offline restaurant.
Simultaneously, he launched Feastables — MrBeast Bar chocolates and MrBeast Cookies cookies. Sold online and at Walmart. The launch in January 2022 was celebrated like a holiday: a money giveaway, a contest with golden tickets in chocolates, a finale judged by Gordon Ramsay. The winner received a chocolate factory. In the first few months, Feastables earned $10 million.
How much does MrBeast earn per month considering all these projects? If you combine all sources, it’s an amount most companies don’t see in a year. Donaldson himself says that the key to success isn’t setting sights on a billion, but focusing on building a great company. The guy even gave lectures at Harvard Business School. That’s the modern entrepreneur.
