I’ve noticed that in the crypto community, the work model through workers is often discussed. A worker is essentially a hired employee who takes on specific tasks within a crypto project or a team of enthusiasts. Usually, this scheme arises when an investor has the funds and vision but lacks the desire or time to handle all operational tasks themselves.

A worker is a solution for those who want to delegate work. The investor finds performers for specific activities — marketing, development, community management, anything really. It’s like freelancing, but within a single project or team.

I’ve seen that such collaborations are becoming increasingly popular in the NFT and DeFi space. A worker is essentially a way to scale operations without hiring a full staff. Especially convenient for startups and new initiatives that require flexibility and quick task execution.

The model itself is quite practical — the investor pays for results, the worker gets paid for the work. No long-term commitments, just a contract for a defined scope of work. By the way, in the Russian-speaking crypto community, this word has become an anglicism, although it simply refers to a temporary contract worker.
