Been looking at Bitcoin price history around July 4th over the years, and it's actually wild to see the progression. Started at basically nothing back in 2010, like a penny or so. Then by 2011 it hit $15, which seemed huge at the time I guess. 2012 dipped to $7 but then things started picking up momentum through the mid-2010s. By 2017 we saw Bitcoin price reach $2,600 on that date, and that was when everyone started paying attention. The 2020s have been even more dramatic - jumped from $9,080 in 2020 to over $34k by 2021. Last couple years have been interesting too, ranging from the $19-31k area in 2022-2023 before climbing to nearly $108k by last July. Crazy to think about the growth trajectory when you line it all up like this. Even with recent pullbacks, we're still way higher than most of those historical levels.
