Based on statistics from the past two years, when there are ST continuous board patterns in the sector, it’s better to do less with the main stocks’ breakout plays, and especially avoid relay plays. Now, once again, there are mass ST continuous board patterns. I carefully counted the ST continuous board stocks across 11 major sectors, as follows. Everyone can compare and see whether your breakout plays are not overpriced relay plays hanging in the sky! The only situation where relay plays are acceptable is when the main stock itself is also a problematic or risky stock because they are of the same kind, such as Jiao Da Angli in food processing, which has formed 4 boards. Back to today’s market, just as I wrote yesterday, the index keeps hitting new highs but the experience isn’t very good. When the market surges, individual stocks are not all rising. On May 12, during a market adjustment, over four thousand stocks fell. Today is even more so. The market volume was high, with a mid-shift decline resulting in 4,387 stocks falling, 18 hitting the limit down, 1,047 stocks rising, 55 hitting the limit up, and 16 consecutive boards, with the upgrade rate remaining high. I may not be the type to hype emotions, but I am definitely among those with strong alertness!

Today, the total trading volume of the two markets was 3.3884 trillion yuan, maintaining above 3 trillion for five consecutive trading days. The index fell 1.77%, breaking below 4,197 points. This means the structure of this wave of rally has been broken. Unless tomorrow opens above 4,197 and the closing index returns above today’s mid-shade median of 4,217, then today’s correction is just a fake fall. Otherwise, a deeper adjustment is expected, with the first target at 4,145 points, and the second at 4,121 points.
