Recently, people keep asking me "How to slow down on-chain data, or why the page hasn't refreshed even though the wallet has confirmed," basically it's not your network that's the problem, it's the data layer that's struggling. Many front-ends rely on indexers/subgraphs, which organize a bunch of logs from the chain into searchable data; when the indexer is catching up, reorganizing, or the node is acting up, you'll see the slow response. Plus, with RPC rate limiting, when public nodes are busy, you'll get 429 errors or timeouts, and the page just spins, making it look like your assets have disappeared.

By the way, I want to complain about the recent hype around AI Agents and automated trading, where many people think it's very advanced to hand over private keys/signature permissions to scripts... Data lag is just an experience issue, but giving out permissions and signing transactions carelessly is truly dangerous. Anyway, I’d rather refresh slowly than click unknown links or install weird plugins just for "automation."
