These days, being bombarded by group messages has gotten a bit annoying… A bunch of people sharing KOL screenshots, drawing lines, shouting “The opportunity is here,” basically overload of information that easily makes people itchy to act. I can get impulsive too, but later reflection shows: the ones who actually pay the price are never the group or the KOLs, it’s always you clicking that button, especially when you haven’t clearly written out stop-loss or position size. Losing money and then blaming others is even less meaningful.



Recently, I’ve also seen everyone comparing RWA, US bond yields, to various on-chain “yield products,” and it’s been quite lively, but what I care about more now is: where does the yield come from, will a wave of drawdowns wipe you out, rather than who sounds more convincing.

Next time, I plan to add a mandatory 30-minute cooling-off period between “seeing the message → placing an order,” to go through an execution checklist first. How do you usually prevent yourself from being led by group chat momentum?
