CryptoWorld News: The U.S. Senate confirmed Kevin Woush as the chair of the Federal Reserve by a vote of 54 to 45. The Senate previously approved Woush to serve as a Federal Reserve Board member on the 12th, for a 14-year term. With his chair appointment approved on the 13th, Woush will officially take up the role after completing the relevant signing procedures related to the White House, succeeding the current chair, Powell, whose term ends this Friday (May 15). However, Powell is expected to remain on as a Federal Reserve Board member. This vote was the most partisan in history: only one Democrat—John Fetterman, a Pennsylvania senator—voted in favor alongside the Republican majority.
