When I found that the "Position" page opened in just 0.5 seconds, I knew this upgrade was really happening
Previously using the old version, there was a moment that drove me crazy: clicking "Position" in the Polymarket section, I had to wait.
It wasn't a wait long enough to be unbearable, but every time I switched tabs, it felt like a pause, like gum stuck to the sole of my shoe. Especially when the market was volatile and I wanted to quickly check my holdings, that wait was really frustrating.
After updating to 8.18.5, I don't know what optimizations the development team made, but that "pause" feeling disappeared.
Switching between the four tabs—Position, Orders, History, Settings—is very smooth, almost instant. I only have one position, and the display is very clean: principal $4.14, current value $4.14 (no change), profit $5. The information hierarchy is clear, easy to see at a glance.
Additionally, order placement response has also become faster. I tried a small order today, and after confirming, it appeared in the position list almost immediately. Previously, there would sometimes be a situation where "after confirming, there was no response, so I thought it didn't go through and clicked again, resulting in duplicate orders." I haven't encountered that this time.
This kind of underlying performance optimization might not make users post praise specifically, but every time I open the app, I can feel it. Smoothness is something once experienced well, you can't go back.
So this post is mainly to praise this upgrade that’s hard to describe but just feels better than before. Well done.
