Interesting to see how global economic power is really concentrated in just a few countries. The total global GDP reaches 123.6 trillion this year, but it is clearly dominated by advanced economies and a few key emerging markets.

I took a look at the ranking of the top 50 economies in 2026, and honestly, it clearly shows the disparities. The same names always appear at the top of the list - not really a surprise when you consider the economic strength of these giants.

What interests me is how this global ranking continues to evolve. Capital flows still follow these major economic powers, which makes sense. It provides a good perspective on where the money is really going worldwide.
